Marisa Kwappenberg

My name is Marisa Kwappenberg. I am a Redlands native and a returning Redlands Unified employee. I worked as a classified employee at Kimberly, Mentone, and Moore Middle School with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. While working with students I wanted to do more to support them and encourage them to succeed. I began to pursue my Master of Arts in School Counseling through Concordia University Irvine in 2021. I began my certificated counseling career outside of Redlands at the high school level. Returning, I have been welcomed by the counseling team and began working with students at the elementary level. My purpose has always been to help others, and I am able to fulfill that as a school counselor. I want to support students with their academic, social emotional, and future goals, so they may continue to be successful with built-in resources.
