Kindergarten: 3 Teachers
Transition Kindergarten: 1 Teacher
Kinder/1st Grade Combination: 1 teacher
First Grade:3 teachersá

Fourth Grade: 3 teachers
Fourth/Fifth Grade Combination: 1 teacher
Fifth Grade: 2 tachers
Third-Fifth Grade Combination: 1 teacher (District Spec. Ed. class)

Resource Program: 1 RSP teacher

Homework:
Homework is an essential part of our program.
Approximate times for homework are as follows:

Kindergarten: 15-20 minutes a night
First grade: 20-30 minutes a night
Second grade: 30 minutes a night
Third grade: 30-45 minutes a night
Fourth grade; 60 minutes a night
Fifth grade: 60-80 minutes a night

Parent Support:

Parent volunteerism and support is the backbone of Mariposa Elementary. All of our parents help in some of the following ways:
1. Classroom volunteers
2. PTA Board
3. School Site Council
4. Special school events: Fall Festival, our annual "A-thon" fundraiser, and Assemblies
5. Parent Tutoring
6. Room Moms and Dads
7. Mariposa Gardens Project
8. Library volunteers
9. Field trips
